• SLICE HOMEMADE AND SOURDOUGH BREADS: This knife is made for slicing all kinds of breads including soft breads and rolls, crusty sourdough and even bread warm from the oven. The wide cutting area allows for slicing bread in many thicknesses from paper thin to Texas toast style thick slices and all sizes in between. Great for making bagel chips and slicing rolls! The cutting area is long enough to slice sourdough rounds up to 8 inches across.
• EASY TO USE: This is a Bow Style cutting tool and takes becomes easy to use after a little practice. Use a gentle sawing motion while moving the blade down through the loaf. Perfect for bread makers with strength and dexterity issues.
• ULTRA SHARP SERRATED BLADE: The stainless steel blade is very thin, double-ground and serrated. This allows the cutter blade to saw easily through all kinds of breads without crushing or mangling them. STAINLESS STEEL: The blade and screws are made from stainless steel. The loop on the end is eco-friendly faux leather lace.
• WELL MADE - DURABLE: The hardwood handle is solid and sturdy and the blade is securely attached by 2 threaded stainless steel screws. Designed to last for years to come. We offer a refurbish program for older knives that need a spruce up.
• BOW (BENDED) HANDLE: We bow or "bend" the wooden handle and then attach the blade. The bent handle pulls the blade taut which removes any flex in the blade. This is what makes our Bread Slicer work better than others.

The handle is thinner than other slicers and easier to grip and we have a larger rounded area at the base of the handle which allows your palm to rest and help guide the blade.
